The show must go on, and so must travel…🚗 As the lockdown has started loosening up and people are tired of their quarantined life, desperately looking for destinations where they can simply drive down and unwind amidst nature, ‘staycation’ is gonna emerge as the most popular travel trend in the post-pandemic times. Well, it never […]
Asia
The largest continent in the world that hosts 60% of the world’s total population along with the magnificent Himalayas and the lush green rainforests as well as the vast stretches of desert, Asia is undoubtedly a mysterious land full of amazing things. Being in love with the snow-clad Himalayas, unique cultures, warm people, diverse topography, colorful festivities, and delicious cuisines - we’ve had our best journeys exploring the nooks and corners of India and then traversing beyond the borders - hopping around mostly the Southeast Asian countries.
Our first international trip together was to Bhutan - the ‘Happiest Country In The World’ as they say, and we had a month to spend there - ticking off nearly all that was there in our bucket list. Later we traveled to Singapore where RD’s cousins lived and had a ‘home away from home’ feeling while being on a vacay. To celebrate RD’s 30th birthday, we took a ‘Mountain Flight’ to get a closer look at the Mt.Everest in Nepal and then backpacked across Cambodia, wandering around the ruins of Angkor. In 2019, Riyanka tripped to Thailand with her childhood buddy and had a crazy island hopping experience!
Together (and sometimes on our own!), we have been taking baby steps of fulfilling our travel dreams and slowly exploring places, learning more through experiences, and weaving beautiful stories worth sharing.
So scroll down to read more about our journeys across Asia :)

The Beautifully Colored Walls Of Pondicherry | A Photo Story!
Pondicherry, the little French colony in India, still holds its charm. The cheery bougainvilleas and brightly colored walls accompanying the brick-paved lanes of Pondy easily catches the imagination and brings an otherworldly feel. While the rest of the country is struggling to move ahead of time, this quaint little town is rather happy with its […]

If you’ve always drooled over the photographs of Ladakh & awed at the breathtaking postcard-perfect views of the mountains and lakes, then I have to tell you that Spiti is no less beautiful. Karyashaala in Bir, Himachal: An Escapade For Digital Nomads In The Mountains
In today’s date, if we look around us, we’ll notice that people are always on their toes to break free from their regular lives and take a break, in order to spend a few days in some quaint place. Also, the concept of freelancing and ‘work away’ has been on a rise for the last […]
Winter Roadtrip In Spiti Valley With The Doi Host: A Journey Through The Wonderland
To put it in the words of Jane Wilson-Howarth, “The mountains were so wild and so stark and so very beautiful that I wanted to cry. I breathed in another wonderful moment to keep safe in my heart.? Our first journey to Spiti Valley was in October 2017 and I was completely mesmerized by the […]
Jurong Bird Park, Singapore: A Detailed Guide to Discover Asia’s Largest Bird Paradise!
When we usually travel to a new destination, visiting zoos & bird parks would essentially be the last things on your checklist! While both I and RD love animals, we are more keen to see them wild and free, rather than captivated and kept away from their natural habitat. However, during our trip to Singapore, […]
5 Places That We Loved While Exploring Singapore
We did our fair share of research before traveling to Singapore, about the places to visit and the things to do - but when we were there, we realized that it’s better to go with the flow rather than planning a day-to-day itinerary. We were there in the country for 10 days, exploring some of […]

A Glimpse Of Spiti Valley In Winters: A Photo Blog!
It’s just about a couple of days that we came down to the plains and not yet fully ready to embrace the city life. We are still drooling over the white-washed world where we spend the last week, gasping for breath as we walked through the snow-laden mountain trails, sipping on endless cups of ‘chai’, […]

Everest Mountain Flight, Nepal: A Closer Look At The Highest Mountains In The World
So, RD has this dream of going for the Everest Base Camp Trek and I’m sure he’ll soon get to live that dream (*Touchwood*). Knowing myself, even though I’m good with high altitude treks but not yet confident enough to sign up for EBC. However, the desire to get a closer look at Mt.Everest is […]
